I'm impressed
Integrated seamlessly with my site and gives me lots of control of media and membership. The video players and widget stuff is very nice as well. I think the one post (above) has it wrong about owning my members. Ning owns members (which is why I left), but I own my members with KickApps as I see it. Would like easier page customization, but everything else seems to be pretty cool
Really?... Not great
Sorry to say, I am not impressed with the way this product works. There is no integration. The idea of the social site is a good one - this product is poor. Surprised at Godaddy
Nice Product for 40 bucks a month!
This is for an end user who has no web knowledge. Pretty slick must admit but considering I can make a site from scratch, Joomla, Post Nuke, Dreamweaver or even Iweb. Why would I pay someone else?
NOT Your Site - NOT Your members - NOT Reccommended
this is a site that SOMEONE else owns, you can not own it. there is good graphics and apps but you have to pay LOTS of $$$ to be a member of this site that NOW you have PAID for a non paying JOB to sell memberships for THEM so YOUR social network has them paying AND YOU ARE PAYING up to $300a MONTH for using only 10k visits, thats NOTHING to hit! AND if you stop paying, poof! Your site, network etc is gone from YOU, BUT... THEY still keep and use the members... It's a total "everyone has to pay them especially YOU who just bought into it!" con / scam I can't believe Godaddy got involved with and is now trying to sell to you!!! Do not buy into it, you WILL be sorry! I am a 5 year user of these apps and felt compelled to review this to save anyone the grief.
Not Impressed
KickApps is a completely separate application that is not integrated with your website at all. It also has ads throughout the site, unless you want to purchase the ad free version. I'm not impressed.
