Good tool - GoDaddy needs to add upgrade
A number of users are complaining that you have to add code to every page. Only for the simplest static HTML I use Content Management Systems (Wordpress/Joomla/DotNetNuke) & Just add to footer & WORKS GREAT. The one issue I have is that there is a new much slicker version from born of the same authors called Piwik that GoDaddy has yet to add to the hosting connection. Manual set up for PiWik causes errors that GoDaddy could corrent in the automation.

Pretty good
My only complaint is it doesn't store IP addresses or brake down regions a little more than just countries. In the admin section you can hide the icon or simply remove it in the code. You can add multiple domains to one install or have multiple installs. Its great for clients to get an overview without giving out any account information such as host id or anything that would give them too much control.

It is Obsolete!!!
phpMyVisites is obsolete. The new/renamed project is Piwik. Go to piwik.org to get the latest and greatest version.

Not so good
If you have to include code in every page, google stats will do the work without the icon

Gets the job done
You need to add the code to every page, and their branding displays on your finished page. Maybe. I haven't tried positioning something at a higher z-level over their branding graphic--but why? You are using a free tool; let them get their advertisement. If you have a CMS, add the code to the template or templates on your site so that every page is automatically updated.
